When Driver A hands over a vehicle to Driver B, both drivers photograph the odometer at the point of handover. The system creates a linked handover record — billing is split by shift cleanly, with no gap in the audit trail.
The driver taps the SOS button in the EVlo driver app. The coordinator receives an instant alert with the vehicle's location. The coordinator assigns a substitute vehicle, the original trip is marked as interrupted, and a new trip record is created for the substitute. Billing for the original vehicle covers only the distance actually driven.
Yes. Vendor managers access the EVlo vendor portal via any desktop or laptop browser — no app needed. Drivers use the EVlo driver app (Android/iOS) for GPS and odometer photos; this is the one role that does require a smartphone. For low-end Android drivers, the app is optimised for minimal data use and battery drain.
EVlo does not replace your legal vendor contracts — it sits alongside them. You enter your agreed rate card (km/hour/flat) into EVlo, and the system computes the settlement from that rate card against GPS evidence. The settlement PDF is the reconciliation document; payment still happens via your existing bank transfer or UPI process.
